History

Founded in 1941 by “nonno Pinin”, FIDIVI Tessitura Vergnano S.p.A. is still owned by the Vergnano family, together with Limonta and AUNDE Achter & Ebels Gmbh.

The current administrators, Giuseppe and Enrico Vergnano, represent the third generation present in this company.
During the forties, the mill produced home textiles such as curtains and blankets, but also fabrics for the clothing industry. It was only during the nineties, however, that FIDIVI became the most important supplier for the FIAT group, being able to impose itself as one of the leading textile industries for the Automotive sector.

In 2003, FIDIVI outsourced the textile production devoted to the automotive sector to AUNDE, also thanks to the partnership existent between the two companies.

From that moment, FIDIVI started to focus its own production on the office and contract sectors, as well as on those of transport and leisure, thanks to its collaboration with TREVIRA and thanks to the high-performance fabrics produced by the company.

FIDIVI distinguishes itself today for its dedication and attention to research and to the new technologies.

These features, combined with the attention to every possible customer need and requirement,, together with the daily commitment to punctuality and responsibility, led FIDIVI to becoming, over the years, the exceptional company that it is today.

FIDIVI’s production plant is today based in Poirino, 15 km away from Torino and from the Caselle airport.
